Following the decision of the Club to field a senior women’s football team in 2018, the Blackburn Football Club is now looking for a suitably qualified and experienced coach to lead the team in its inaugural season.

We have been actively promoting female football for many years. Blackburn was one of the first clubs to establish a girls’ team in the Eastern Football League and has invested heavily in developing girls’ football over the past six years.
With 5 girls teams and over 100 players, it’s only natural that we introduce a women’s team in 2018.

If you are:
• as passionate about female football as we are
• have excellent communication and organisational skills work well in teams with other members of our coaching staff and
• can inspire our players to perform to their best……..then we would love to hear from you.
