The 2018 Junior Committee comprises over 20 dedicated volunteers that work together to field our 23 teams each week. The community spirit and selfless effort of our people are the keys to the smooth working of our Junior Committee. We know that the stars of the club are our kids, the coaches and parents are a key to guiding them and we want to give all our people the best community footy experience possible. Our key Committee contacts are below.

PETER PARKER
JUNIOR CLUB PRESIDENT
Like all passionate Burners parents Peter loves to watch his kids play. Having coached at the club and Auskick level, his commitment to community and self esteem of our young is most paramount to him. Culture is most primary, BJFC’s reputation as a strong, ethical football club creates one club junior players into Senior Blackburn footballers. He is a local registered Osteopath and founder of a NFP charity UpStanding Kids once again trying to enhance the physical and mental health of our future stars.

TIM JACOBS
ALWAYS IN OUR THOUGHTS
Tim dealt with many people around the EFL, YJFL and their member clubs.

DAVE COUPER
GROUNDS MANAGER
Dave’s passion for football started watching Collingwood the late 70s try and win a premiership. Playing football at Blackburn from 1994 till 2000 then an assistant coaching role for the Blackburn U/19 from 2006 till 2008 added to that passion. This is Dave’s third year on the committee and he remains as passionate today about football as he was in his younger years and enjoys helping the local community.
