The Blackburn Football club is delighted to announce the appointment of Brendan Allen to the position of Senior Coach for 2018.
Following a distinguished football career in the country, Amateurs and Southern League, Brendan commenced his coaching career in the Southern League with Murumbeena and Canterbury Football clubs. For the past 6 years Brendan has been involved at State League level with AFL aligned Sandringham where he has been Senior Assistant Coach and midfield coach for the last 4 years. We welcome Brendan and his wife Naomi and four children Jordan, Charlotte, Lillie and Jack to the Blackburn family and look forward to the next few years under his guidance and leadership.
Anthony Allen, Senior Assistant Coach to Kon in 2017, will take on the role of Head Development Coach in 2018. Anthony’s credentials and experience will be a bonus to the Burners in this role and the assistance he can provide new coach Brendan Allen (no relation) will prove invaluable.
